A little context
I was born and raised in Korea and moved to the United States as an adult. Since then, I have worked, studied, become a citizen, built a business, and made a life as a husband and father of three.
My Christian faith shapes how I understand family, work, and belonging. Now in my fifties, I am slowing down enough to ask where I am headed and to choose that direction with greater care.
This site is a place to write through that search, first in Korean and then shared in English with the original alongside. It is less a declaration than a record of paying attention.

나에 관하여
나는 한국에서 태어나 자랐고, 성인이 된 뒤 미국으로 건너왔다. 이곳에서 일하고 공부하며 시민권을 취득했고, 내 사업을 시작했다. 가정을 이루었고, 세 아이의 아버지가 되었다.
그리스도인으로서 신앙은 가족과 일, 그리고 소속감을 바라보는 나의 시선을 이룬다. 오십 대에 들어선 지금, 나는 조금 천천히 걸으며 어디로 향하고 있는지 묻고, 앞으로의 방향을 더 신중히 선택하려 한다.
이곳은 그 질문을 글로 남기는 자리다. 먼저 한국어로 쓰고, 영어로 나누되 원문을 함께 둔다. 답을 선언하기보다 삶을 찬찬히 바라보는 기록에 가깝다.
